The financial transformation journey is often addressed through trying to avoid the pitfalls associated with the causes of failure while leveraging the critical success factors. At best, Chief Financial Officers adopting this approach are likely to improve the degree of customer service experienced by Finance department. This is unlikely to lead to sustainable financial transformation being achieved. This article, having explored the causes of financial transformation and critical success factors, presents an exploratory model between business alignment and financial transformation. This relationship describes the necessary aspects of what is required to achieve financial transformation in a sustainable manner, while overcoming the challenges associated with financial transformation often being subjectively understood by the stakeholders.

With the increasing globalization, more integrated markets, growing number of Multinational Corporations (MNCs) in India and dearth of studies in the area of internationalization and Human Resource (HRR) roles posed a line of enquiry into this aspect as the study is intended to explore the role of HR managers with the degree of internationalization in Indian MNCs. The roles of HR Professionals are also changing due to dramatic rate of change in today’s organizations. It has been advocated that the role of the HR Professionals must parallel the needs of changing organization. It has been argued that globalization leads to more strategic role for Human Resource (HR) managers (Scullion and Starkey 2001). For measuring HR roles, most popular four roles model of Ulrich (1997) is used in the present research. Degree of Internationalization (DOI) is measured through Composite scale developed by (Sullivan 1994). The scales were tested for unidimensionality, reliability, response and non response biases and all kind of concerned validities. Thereafter measurement model was developed for the proposed relationships using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through the capabilities of Lisrel 8.80. The findings corroborates with the existing literature reporting strong relationship of DOI with all the four roles proposed by Dave Ulrich especially with strategic role.

Within the framework of multiple advocacy theory and elite model, an eclectic approach, the study examined citizens’ participation in public policy making and implementation with specific reference to Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State 2011-2015, with the aim of indentifying the overall impacts, benefits as well as factors hindering citizens’ participation in public policy making and implementation. A total of 220 participants were selected through multi-stage and simple random sampling technique. Frequency counts and percentage were utilized in realizing the data collected. The findings show that overall impact of citizen participation in the making and implementation of policy in Ngor Okpala local government is not all influential; the study equally revealed that there is lack of official support for citizens to fully participate in public policy. Therefore, the study recommend among others, that the public should be re-oriented on the importance of citizen’s participation and target beneficiaries should be involved at the formulation and implementation stage of public making in order for them to have an input in decisions that affects their lives, thereby giving them a sense of belonging and of commitment.

The purpose of the study was to explore the impact of demography of online customers on e-satisfaction as well as on the determinants of e-satisfaction operating in e-retailing space in India. A theoretical model was derived in accordance with the literature and was tested empirically. Conveniently sampling technique was used. Primary data was collected through a structured questionnaire through personal and online mode. First of all a descriptive analysis was done and a demographic profile of the online customers was created. To explore any possible impact of these demographic factors on e-satisfaction and its determinants an exploratory factor analysis was done to consolidate the underlying constructs and ascertain the structure of determinants along with their factor scores. Once the underlying constructs were unearthed, the impact of each demographic was assessed on e-satisfaction and its each if its determinants separately by employing either t-test or ANOVA which was applicable. The results of exploratory factor analysis show that the e-satisfaction and its determinants can be consolidated into six underlying constructs or factors. The results of t-test and ANOVA conclude that most of the determinants are independent of the demography of the online customers. The demographic factors that were found to have significant impact are gender, education, age and income on convenience, e-satisfaction and merchandising, perceived value and financial transactions respectively.

Information Communication Technology (ICT) has become a vital tool to drive socio-Economic development in all areas of human endeavor. In response to this global trend, tertiary institutions in Nigeria have adopted electronic administration (E-administration) in the management of their affairs. This study therefore examines electronic administration in Adekunle Ajasin University. Al case study research was adopted with sampling size of three hundred and fifty (350) respondents, Frequency and simple percentage method was used to analyze and interpret the data while statistical package for the social science (SPSS) was used to test the hypotheses. The finding reveals that the adoption of e- administration has improved not only effectively, efficiency and accuracy in service delivery, but has saved cost and time despite the challenges of inadequate fund, epileptic power supply and internet hiccups. The study concludes that e-administration in AAUA has greatly impacted positively on the efficiency and effectiveness of services delivery. The study therefore recommends among others that, there is need for explicit full automation of all administrative process to meet global best practices.
